DJ Sasha Gets Involved in Charity Auction

The success of DJ SASHA’s tsunami benefit show, broadcast on Protonradio.com, and of the ensuing online auction has led to a rebroadcast of the entire set on AOL Music and the AOL Radio Network. Involved Inc., the company that headed up the previous broadcast, is presenting the encore presentation as well.

The company is also running the auction and raffle, which feature CDs, vinyl, label packages, VIP packages, music memorabilia, equipment, and more. The auction runs until May 3rd with all proceeds going to UNICEF, which will aid children affected by the tsunami disaster.

DJ SASHA started out has a club DJ and rose to prominence in the early ’90s English club scene. The Welsh-born DJ has become one of the most innovative and influential electronic artists of the past ten years and at one time held the title of world’s highest paid DJ. He went on to fame and fortune remixing tracks for such artists as The Pet Shop Boys and Simply Red. His latest album is the remix album Involver, released last summer.
