Lee Coombs is a Cereal Killa

LEE COOMBS delivers his eagerly anticipated debut artist album 'Breakfast Of Champions', tearing through a torrid throng of musical genres and crashing through every record box on his way!

This truly epic album hurtles along from the carefree sunshine of 'Space Terrace', with the dark ebbing klaxons and sleazy tribal echoes of 'Black Elk Speaks', to the album's eponymous track before taking on the grimy acid house that would send the freaks down at DC10 running for cover! The soothing vocals and glinting guitar twangs of LEE COOMBS' updated New Order 'Crystal' remix lends sanctuary to the sinister breaks of 'Dubhead' and the Axel F electro of 'Would Be True', while Katherine Ellis from SALSOUL NUGGETs fame adds the diva element for the album's vocal stormer 'Shiver'.

Lee has collaborated with some of the finest producers around including DYLAN RHYMES, CHRISTIAN J, Andy Gardner (PLUMP DJS) and Jem Panufnik (SOUL OF MAN). The first single from the album 'Alright All-Night'/'Dubhead' went straight to No.1 in the DJ Mag "Beats & Breaks Chart". The second single will feature Lee's largest remixes to date - PAUL OAKENFOLD's 'Time Of Your Life' with the infamous re-working of New Order's 'Crystal' on the flip.

Already huge with a mixture of DJs as diverse as DANNY MCMILLAN, STEVE LAWLER, Tom Findlay (Groove Armada), ASHLEY CASSELLE and of course a healthy stash of the usual breaks bods, in the words of the Coombsie: "This album is all about drawing on the past whilst using new influences and techniques to push this music further into the future.. At the end of the day I just want to enjoy top quality dance music...all night long. And maybe part of the next day too." Believe it!
