• Why doesn't my password work?

  There are several reasons why you may be getting an "Invalid Password" error message:

  • Set your CAPS LOCK key correctly. Passwords are case sensitive (meaning that "PASSWORD," "PaSsWoRd," and "password" are not equivalent), so be sure to keep this in mind when entering your password.
  • Sign in with the correct Email Address. Make sure that you are using the correct Email Address when signing in to your account.
  • Delete your cookie files. A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser that helps identify you. If your cookie is not being accepted correctly, you will be logged out of your account as soon as you move to a different page. This may be blocking your current ability to log in or stay logged in.

    To delete your cookies, close all browser windows, find the "cookies" directory, and delete the cookie files inside. As always, make sure that you have selected the proper files before deleting.

  • Clear your browser's cache. At times it's necessary to clear your browser's cache. The cache is the memory your browser uses to store content of the web pages that you visit. Storing that content lets your browser load those same pages more quickly the next time you visit them.

• What if I forgot my password?

  You can recover your password here.

  Make sure to provide the same information you gave during registration or when you last updated your account. Without the correct verification information, you will not be able to obtain your password.

• How do I change my password?

  If you would like to change your password, just sign in to The DJ List with your current password and click on the my profile (when logged in) link at the top of the page. You will be asked to re-enter your current password for verification. Then:

  • Click on the "Change Password" link.
  • Enter your current password in the first box.
  • Enter your new password (as you would like it to be) in the second box.
  • Confirm your new password in the third box.
  • Click the "Save" button.

  Your password for The DJ List will always apply your main account. Advertisers and Contest Sponsors are assigned different passwords to access these sections of The DJ List.

  Please Note: To better protect your account, make sure that your password is memorable for you but difficult for others to guess. Never use the same password that you have used in the past, and do not share your password with anyone. For security purposes, your new password must be a minimum of four characters long. A good password contains a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters (remember that your password is case sensitive) and numbers.

• What is the Account Confirmation PIN?

  The Account Confirmation PIN is a 6 digit number that is sent to email account registered by a user. This number must be entered on our login page to verify that your account is a actual registration and real email address. This action is required for security purposes.

  Your Account Confirmation PIN only needs to be entered once (twice if you update your email address in your profile).

• I didn't receive my Account Confirmation PIN?

• I've tried everything and still cannot login?

  Please be sure that your web browser has it's "cookie" settings set to "enabled".

  A Cookie is:

  A very small text file placed on your hard drive by a Web Page server. It is essentially your identification card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you.

  A Cookie's Purpose is:

  To tell the server you need to be recognized by the server to state whether or not you are logged in.
