Youssef aka Yous was born on the 12th of December in 1970 in Nador, Morroco. Yous got interested in dance music at an early age and got into DJing on his 18th. While first collecting and playing a lot of trance Yous got more interested in other styles like house, techno and electro. Nowadays yous plays quite an eclectic style with records those vary from dirty raw electro to rough progressive house, as long as it rocks. Yous now played in different venues with names like DJ Buzz Fuzz, The Darkraver, Paul Elstak, The Prophet, panic and Evil Activities just to name a few. Being brought up in a musical surrounding it seemed to be obvious that he, whenever he could, was always the one to take care of the music. When turning tables became more than a hobby, he instinctively named himself turntable junkie. He started his DJ career in Helmond and organized parties over there and in Eindhoven. After some time the people around him discovered his talent and devotion. He started playing in clubs and Yous began to make a name for himself as an up-and-coming DJ. In his DJ sets he plays with a raw energy and enthusiasm that reflects his passion for the music. Yous's sets are refreshingly diverse, encompassing everything from R&b, Rare Grooves, Hip-Hop to House music, though HOUSE music remains a special place in his heart.
