YESCO
Born January 12th, 1976 in Munich, DJ Yesco (real name: Jesko) started mixing 1994. Since then he invested a lot of time and money to build up an acceptable record collection. His DJ career started 1996 in Munich. Music has been one of the biggest passions in his life and he has always felt the need to share that passion with other people. He has been noted for being a master at the style called "Cosmic" or in Italy described as "Afro Funky", influenced by festivals in Italy and Austria. DJ Yesco has a unique skill in combining a wide variety of musical influences. Resisting the commercial sounds and trends of the time, he caught the attention to his own distinctive style and sound. He never comes into a club and spins just a ready set, so always interaction takes place between him and the people. Between 2001 and 2005 he had landed several residencies around Kassel. 2005 his musical genre undertook a major change by moving from "Cosmic" to "Electro" and "Nu School". In Munich he played at the Cafe am Hochhaus (..thanks to Caro and Tino). 2007 there was under other a great "Remember Cosmic" event in Zurich together with DJ Puh and him at the helsinkiklub (..thanks also to David). It was part of the "Motherland calling from..." events. Story goes on. The next line ups beside Kassel will be in Hamburg and Berlin. save the vinyl!
