Vitor Lima is one of the most illustrious representatives of Brazilian electronic music. Throughout his almost ten year career, he has accumulated international prizes, released compilations CDs, played in many gigs and radio shows, besides having shared nights with the biggest names in industry including The Prodigy, LCD Soundsystem, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Mauro Piccoto, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Gabriel and Dresden, Fergie and many others. The versatility of his musical style, that establishes three of the main bases of e-music, Techno, House and Trance, leads to the inevitable comparison of Vitor with European Top DJs such as Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. Despite his tender age of 24, Vitor Lima has dazzled crowds all over Brazil and beyond. Some of the best nights Vitor has played at include the hot nights of Trancoso in Bahia, the huge Skol beats Festival 2005 and 2006 and Tim Festival 2005, passing for Club Fashion in Joo Pessoa, Na Sala in Belo Horizonte, Zero Zero in Rio de Janeiro, Manga Rosa, Lov.E, D-edge and several others in So Paulo, Sirena in Maresias, Case, Ibiza and Aya Napa in Balnerio Camburiu, XXXperience Rave Parties, Spin in Porto Alegre and events from abroad, Renaissance and Slinky. In Europe, Vitor is resident of Never Enough events in London, and plays regularly at The Fridge and Twist in Brixton. In Portugal, Elitis, Swing, Danbio and Versus Club are the places to listen to Vitor Lima regularly. Today, Vitor Lima keeps his title of best Progressive DJ of Brazil, with a bi-championship in the voting from the readers of the column Noite Ilutrada of journalist Erika Palomino, the most important Brazilian periodical, Folha de So Paulo. He also gained prizes from Jornal da Tarde, besides having been indicated to others for specialized magazines DJ Sound and Cool Magazine. In the record market Vitor Lima also proven a great success, only in 2002 he launched the CD Vitor Lima Pro Progression (Turn Left Records) and soon after that was invited to be part of the DVD Clubtronic 97fm, besides having licensed tracks for ST2 Records, Azul Music and Underground Records Brazil (URBR). 2004 was marked by another great launching, CD DJ Collection Vol. 1 by Vitor Lima (Building Respect Records). In 2006 he promises his first international release with the single You Know It in collaboration with Brazilian producer Rodrigo Ferrari.
