VASCO DE GAMA
Vasja Zamernik, better known as Vasco de Gama, first presented his work in the year 2002, when he surprised with his unique style and tougher, for the time less heard techno beats.This yet unknown name on the Slovenian techno scene rose to recognition almost over night. Now, not a party goes by where he would not be present as an activist (Dom im Berg /AUT/, Casablanca, Pekarna, D..Place, Sunset,Festival MUSICSPHERE, FAKK the fest...) or a listener. He has mixed with DJ"s like Dj Rush, Jan Maruk, Petar Dundov,Goran Isic, DJ Psiho, Luygi Van, Bizzy, Daniel Gloomy, Reaky, Pette Vaydex, Rydel,... He was a fan of rap and funk music when he was first acquainted with electronic sounds, but only one techno event turned him into a fatalist that cannot get enough of the techno beats. A resident of No-ctrl association and one of the most perspective DJ"s of the younger generation of "Koroska bombers", who looks up to Wehbba, Preach and Cave, constantly intrigues with energetically loaded conquests through the beats of pure techno.
