Timewarp was born in Athens, Greece 25 years before the second millennium. He was introduced to electronic music at age 13 when he acquired an amiga. Captivated by the fledging technology's potential he started working on his own sounds and soon found his musical identity in the area of chill sound beats.

Being a dj as well as a composer he became famous in the Greek underground electronica scene. Over the years he appeared in numerous parties and venues and he created one of the first pioneering dance projects in Greece. Influenced by and joining forces with a number of other composers and artists he started expanding the character of his music, combining smooth trance baselines with melodic instruments like the flute and exotic percussion and vocals creating a very characteristic worm ethereal worldly chill sound.

At the same time his production style moved into progressive sounds obtaining dark rough edges that applied to his music a dramatic intensity. His well-defined music signature can be easily identified in all his productions from ambient downtempo to nu dance.

After ten tears of development in music technology Timewarp has contributed in many releases of various record labels: ecco.chamber (at), m-beat (usa), synergetic (at), loopsnoo (gr), 3dvision (fr), rubber (gr) and licensed music for commercial motion TV advertising spots like Carroten, Delta Life Tsai, Delta Imagine, Delta Milko, Honda-HRV, WV-Polo, Seat-Ibiza, Stolichnaya, Old Holborn, Alpha Bank and CitiBank (radio). You can find him under the aliases Timewarp and Timewarp Inc.

Timewarp inc. - Dub my funky groove. Timewarp has been working on this project for about two years. He has cooperated with other musicians and has managed to produce a sound quite different to his previous releases. Three tracks of this album have been already licensed to commercial motion TV spot ads in Greece for WV Polo, Seat Ibiza and Old Holborn (Cinema). His second album under the title Time in waves (synergetic recs) featured in the first position of the deutsche chill out charts in 2005. Many of his tracks have been included in over twelve compilations like Black Coffee Chapter 6 (ecco.chamber), Module II (3d vision) Iodium (M-beat) and Chillicious (Waveform recs).

In early 2004 Timewarp created the independent record label Timewarp Music which has already released Timewarp inc Dub my funky groove, VA Save your funkin ears and has scheduled to release Dub my funky groove-Remixes & reworks, Save your funkin ears II and the debut LPs of Quasamodo and So.T.F
