As a young boy Vincent listened to records that we nowadays call House-classics. After he noticed that there where people who mix these records together in front of an audience, he was sold and wanted to become a DJ. His dad immediately lost his Technics SL-1910 (yep, not the 1200 or 1210) turntables to Vincent together with a mixer with faders (no gain buttons, no low / mid / high equalizer) he "borrowed" from his big brother. With these materials Thanoz started his career. Then he only owned a few 12-inches and a bunch of 7-inches, but this was enough to get used to mixing with vinyl and adjusting the beat of one track to another. A new DJ was born, then playing under the temporary name "Marble".

In 1994 he met Gino Stoelinga at his school, they simply started talking because they were both wearing a Bonzai Records shirt. Vincent and Gino became very good friends. Gino (then known as G-Force) was resident DJ at "The Tunnel" in Boskoop at that time. On one evening Gino simply gave 30 minutes of his set to Thanoz. These 30 minutes proved to be pretty good, because the people went wild and came to shake hands at the end of his set. Vincent thought up the names "Thanoz" for himself and Gino's new name "Nexus".

Now both Nexus and Thanoz (a short time later to be known as the "Coalition DJ Team") were residents at the Tunnel and played at every house-party at The Tunnel, including some sold-out parties with DJ's like Isaac, Buzz Fuzz and Panic. They also played at some other clubs in the region, such as "De Zon" in Bodegraven and "Loose End" in Reeuwijk. At most of these parties only gabber / hardcore music was played, but Thanoz never lost his love for the whole house-genre in general and never stopped buying records of other house-styles.

Today Thanoz is still a member of the Coalition DJ Team, being it under a different composition. The Coalition DJ Team (the guys behind Coalition Productionz) now consists of: Caffa, LD, Fibre, Spy-D, Thanoz and Tumbler.

Thanoz likes to perform together with his buddy DJ LD, because they make a strong energetic couple, pushing each other to the very sound limit and the wackiest sets. The sets of these 2 DJ's together are like a constant battle with each other, causing one musical climax after another and an overall set style that is hard to duplicate.

Thanoz is well known for his different record choice: Rhythmic, energetic, melodic and often filled with breakbeats and great lyrics.
