Mixing, blending and scratching- Techjitsu works with urban dance music, specializing in Hip-Hop, R&B, World Groove, Classic House, and Dancehall/Reggae. Originally from a Mid-West / “Dirty South” music scene, he currently resides in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, CA.

Originally from Columbia, MO DJ "Tech" got his start as a DJ in high school by making “pause button” mixtapes. It was natural to progress into turntables; eventually giving him the chance to DJ for the residence hall radio station at Mizzou; KCOU 88.1FM. Mixing vinyl was easy, but learning to scratch on a radio station soundboard is not an easy task...

Working the graveyard shift, manning the decks from 12am-4am, Tech eventually rose to the title of Hip-Hop Music Director.

His increasing skills landed him a position as the dance DJ at a nightclub/concert venue called The Blue Note where mixed for the weekly “Hump Night” while also spinning between Hip-Hop concerts acts.
