Dj Surge started out in the beginning of 2004 when he couldn't find any place that played good euro at Urbana-Champaign. Inspired by international DJs like Ferry Corsten and Dave Pearce and Chicago DJs like Brett Lee, Inphinity, and Markski, Surge's mixes contain mostly euro and vocal trance sounds along with some house. After a year his tastes progressed to a more funky/tech house sound.
