Sugarcube Inc., a Disco House project based in Germany, was founded 2002 by the two producers and DJs Christian Loesch and Mike Dippon.

The both met first time backstage on a TV event The Dome in Leipzig and found the common theme: DJing and producing, so they decided to work together for some projects.

Before that each of them had already a lot of music production experience with chart acts:

Chris, aka Sugar Chris was working together with Digitex and produced the famous Euro Rap Act Lamar (3 chart singles and 1 album) and projects like Mr. Mo and Funkleib. He also became probs at the DMC Championship Germany in turntablism.

Mike, aka DJ Mike MD, started about 1985 as a DJ and became the producer of one of the first and most important German Hip Hop Acts ever: Advanced Chemistry. Later he founded together with Dee Smoove (NYC) the Hip Hop band Colours United.

From 1995 on he co-produced and remixed a number of famous chart acts for Syndicate Music prodution in Munich, as like Sqeezer, Bed & Breakfast, Ermitage and Tami. Together with Heiko Maile (Camouflage) he produced the chart act Southside Rockers (4 chart singles and 1 album) and various remixes for Bobby Womack.

Together they released some house tracks for a45 music and other labels and produced remixes for Gloria Gaynor, their famous mainstream project Royal Melody and others. See details in the discography.

In 2006 they joined up with music mail, one of the biggest vinyl distributors in Germany and released the oldie but goodie ROCK THE BOAT originated by the Hues Convention in a spicy and funky new shape, supported by the lovely vocals from Romy Lombardo.

To keep the ball rolling in 2007, Sugarcube Inc. will beat up with new funky stuff to fulfill the needs of real music lovers
