Who the f*** is Store N Forward? ;)

How it all began

The roots of Store N Forward go back to the year 1998 when two young men from Hamburg got to know each other by chance. Interning in the same firm and sharing the interest of the "new" electronic sound, trance, Thomas Boldt and Christian Steinweg became friends quickly.

Because of their fascination in the music, mixed with a proper volition, it was merely a matter of time until they produced their own music with their own facilities. Store N Forward was finally founded in 2001 and ever since then they've been trying to figure out a "really cool slogan." ;) As the years have gone by, not only has their studio developed, but also the quality and sound of their music.

The breakthrough

In early 2004 Store N Forward tried their luck in a remix contest of the new single Oceanlab-Satellite (Anjunabeats/ Above&Beyond) and placed in the top 10. In the final judging they received third place and, consequently, had a huge response to their first MP3-Release: the Boldt & Steinweg Remix. During the ourse of the rest of the year 2004, their second remix and their first single Blind Straight were released. Then, in the blink of an eye, both tracks became recognized as quality work by many producers and DJs throughout the EDM scene.

Just the facts:

- Above & Beyond played Blind Straight in each and every one of their three famous TATW monthly shows

- Both Blind Straight and their Boldt & Steinweg Remix of Monsun-Monsun have been in several DJ playlists

- Blind Straight finally got recognized for its merit and was added to the biggest trance-compilation in Germany: Dream Dance 34!

In 2005 Store N Forward focused mainly on producing more remixes. The requests were coming in faster than they could handle! Thomas and Christian then realized that there had to be more time devoted to their music and to Store N Forward ! Germany's most distinguished electronic music magazine Raveline writes:

"If only such newcomers like Store N Forward would spring up like mushrooms, our trance-scene would thrive and prosper like nobody could imagine!"

Today

With their second single release 4 Seasons in one day, it seems Store N Forward were able to make their final ?breakthrough?. The trance song with vocals by trance artist/ enthusiast and friend of theirs Jan Mhlenbrock aka Mil Brokes, was released in November 2006 on one of the top 3 trance labels Afterglow Records.

In 2007 they played alongside Ferry Corsten in the United States for their second time and already did a collaboration with their German friends from Munich Cressida with a track called "Why don?t we talk about it?"

It is compiled inter alia to the internationally highly respected Thrillseekers Nightmusic Vol.2 and True to Trance Vol.3 ? both singles got support by the big ones like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Menno de Jong, Mike Shiver, Tillmann Uhrmacher, just to name a few?

Thomas & Chris are working right now on their 3rd own Single ?Honeymoon? ,on several remixes and collaborations, on a biweekly 2hours XM Satellite Radio Show (Channel 82), on a monthly Di.FM radio show and they are about to raise their national and international reputation, also supported by a couple of DJ-gigs ?
