STEVIE E
Stevie 'E' is first and foremost a Trance DJ, he has been a turntablist since the mid 90's after going to a Clubbing event with his then fianc in the Isle of Man. Steve was first introduced to what many people now call Trance Classics and was given his first 'set' to do at a house party and was asked to play at lesser known venues' and thought then that is what he wanted to do. Steve then moved to the UK Mainland in July 2004 and after a period of touring the UK's Clubbing Scene, he decided to created Time Travel Promotions. Steve's own Promotional Brand, It is something he is striving to push up the ladder and his drive, his enthusiasm & determination it is slowly starting to pay off in the music and clubbing industry. Steve decided that as he had been off the 'scene' for a good few years prior to his move that he would brush up on his turntablist skills and went to the DJ Academy where he met up with DJ Trixta. DJ Trixta has been a DJ for 15 years with ten years teaching experience. He has toured the world with his unique 6 decks mixing technique called "Cubism" with which he is GUNNIESS BOOK of RECORDS HOLDER for SIX DECK MIXING and has established his residencies world wide including the United States, Japan, Australia, Greece, Spain, France, and here in the UK at Ministry of Sound in London and The Manour (Bournemouth-UK). Trixta has given much encouragement to Steve and awarded him his certificate of distinction after completing his course. Steve has played not only at his 'hometown' of Douglas in the Isle of Man, but has also played in Gran Canaries and has been asked to play in Latvia, Greece and India. Steve is not only an enthusiastic DJ who loves his Trance; he is also turning his hand to Production! With no skills whatsoever, he has created a track called "Techno Dreams", the track was engineered by 'Ugly Dave' off Scum Records and this has given Steve the inspiration to create his own tunage and eventually create an album which he hopes to release on Time Travel Records Label; a part of his own branding. Although Steve has not got a permanent Residency yet, he is now working together with Dan Apps and has played at one of the Sound Proj-X (SPX) events. Steve was hoping to organise and run a regular event in a large capacity Venue on the South Coast in 2005 and worked very closely with the team to get it off the ground, but the Venue decided at the last minute that it wasn't what they wanted to do. Steve, although slightly knocked for the announcement has not given up, he's still driving himself and his "Brand" with little support from outside parties! Having said that, Steve is now even more determined to get himself on the map and make his mark within the Industry. Steve is a DJ to watch out for, for an individual who is trying to get more recognition in this hard working Industry, he has raised a lot of eyebrows with his mix of "Techno Dreams" and has a style that although may not be visible to a lot, will pay off for him in the end. Steve has now been asked for his mix sets so they can be played on Internet Radio Stations, which he is hoping, more people will get to hear and know he is more than capable of delivering what the Clubbers want. It might pay you to get in touch with this DJ, if Dan Apps thinks he can mix a good set and be a crowd pleaser, then, he is definitely going to go places.
