Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. DJ Snapps is a native to the Scarborough Area.

Already well known and established in the Reggae community for his unbelievable selecting abilities and seamless performances.

Snapps decided to expand his success with the creation of an already infamous SHELL SHOCK SOUND Crew in the year 2004, this saw DJ Jon Doe a hip-hop dj'n GURU added to the roster.

Performing mainly in the downtown T.O Clubs, Snapps also frequents often at out of town Clubs and Lounges within Ontario. DJ Snapps collaboration of SHELL SHOCK SOUND with DJ Jon Doe expanded Snapps interests from his passion and love for Reggae music that

Snapps explains will seemingly never "FADE AWAY", but gave light to an appreciation for that deep rooted hip-hop flavor. The timing for Snapps could not have been better for his two worlds of hip-hop and reggae to unify. A large insurgence of Urban Music demand in Canada specifically T.O. is steadily bringing Snapps to the forefront of urban DJ performances. His massive knowledge of Reggae was now being bled into the sounds of hip-hop creating some of the most advanced mixes and unique blends of the two genre's which have rapidly placed Snapps at the top amongst the Urban Style DJ's.

Snapps constantly creates and engineers some of the most anticipated and listened to compilation CD's. At the end of 2004 he had just released his 24th compilation cd entitled "SNAPPSHOTS". Snapps claims this is perhaps some of his most important and favored thing to do creating compilation CD's due to there direct fan based intention. He explains "To have fans in the club for several hours in a week is Hype, but to know your still with them on there ride home and to work perhaps daily is where I get personal satisfaction".
