Sekonig was born in 1976. His passion for music started as a young boy. He went to record shops with his father every Saturday buying hits of the 80s for private parties. The music styles he was collecting and listening to changed over the years. At first it was rock, (Cream, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors ) grunge, and old funk music. By listening to this music he was always focusing on: Where does the music come from? In the early 90s his black music phase came. He collected hip-hop, (Gang Starr, De la Soul, A tribe called Quest, Mc Solaar, Group Home, EPMD ) soul, jazz, and old disco sounds. At that time he was beginning to mix and scratch and he became a hip-hop Dj.Sekonig was always open minded for every kind of music, so he listened to acid-jazz, drum&bass and trip-hop. But he was always influenced by US dance music like: (Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Barry White, Larry Levan, Giorgio Moroder, Motown etc.) all the old sounds that were going to become house-music. And house-music found him.His huge collection of old disco and funk music like from (Studio54 or Paradise Garage) was a perfect fit for the early disco-house time. He worked together with X-Tide promotion Ltd. and played on many events with Dj Robin T in his home town. His dance floor experience enabled him to read his audience and always select the right sounds for a deep pumpin house night. He played in every location in Dortmund since that time and became a resident Dj for the Liquid-Lounge 2002-2004. After that he played on many events in Germany and focused on his musical style that can be described as:

House-music: especially from deep-house, soulful-house, broken latin beats and balearic rhythms to tribal, dub & tech-house.
