Beginning from the suburbs of Detroit, Sandbox has traveled a long distance from slammin' vinyl behind the decks, promoting, and has just recently started producing. Having a love for life and a go lucky personality, when entering the scene, back in 1999, becoming a kandie kid came natural. Getting more involved he continued as a supporter of the rave culture. In 2002 Sandbox evolved and begun studying and mastering the skill of turntablism. He has captivated crowds with his rare style of progressive trance but has progressed by bringing energy to the dance floor where ever he goes with the genre he treasures and his unique style of UK Hardcore

With his never-ending love for hardcore, Sandbox alongside a friend and fellow dj, Okidam, formed a team and set out to show Michigan a hardcore scene. Which resulted in the birth of Uptown Underground Kids (UUK). As long as Sandbox and Okidam exist hardcore will never die in Michigan.
