Rod Carrillo hails from The Republic of Panama. Getting a break at the age of 14 in the nightclubs in Miami, Rod found his passion early in life spinning wherever they wouldnt check his I.D. His involvement within Miamis nightlife lead to a life of late nights and hauling obsessive amounts of vinyl across the country.-

In 1998 Rod was commissioned by Sony Records, Latin Division, to remix a Jimmy Ray track "Going To Vegas" for the Brazilian Market charting Top Ten.

In January 1999, Rod returned to Tucson, Arizona to become head designer and music director for Online Music. His shows were heard in over 15 different radio markets and globally through various online radio stations.

January 2000 through June 2000 Rod was selected to mix and program Future Shock, KFMA Radios 4-hour Friday night mix show live from 9pm-1am at Club Metro in Tucson. He also coordinated and booked all guest appearances on the show.

Rod replaced Markus Schulz at the Crowbar in Phoenix from 2000-2002 where for two years he had thousands of dance aficionados jumping to his beats. He started producing tracks for many known DJs and became part of the management at KNRJ radio.

Rod is a fierce producer that gives a true club feel to all the tracks he puts his hands on. He has remixed and produced many artists and DJs including: Eddie Amador, Mickey Oliver, Danielle Bollinger, Jacinta, Frankee, Jimmy Ray, Kim Tate and many more. Rod is by far one of the most talented DJs and producer in todays scene, his production skills are varied in the dance, rock and Latin arena. His sets flow with the crowd and with the atmosphere of the night. You can feel it. Rod's progressive style, appreciation and passion for the music supersedes any expectations of what should be played or produced. He plays and produces what FEELS good.

Rod is currently working on several projects with Eddie Amador with a new CD release coming out in June 2007. Rod and Eddie's current single Spotlight continues to move up the Billboard Dance Charts. It is not only being played by many DJ's across the US but debuted internationally on March 31st,2007 on Bob Sinclair's Radio One Show.
