Ricky Morrison is one of the UK's leading DJs and most weekends you can catch him behind the decks of the most popular clubs in Italy and Europe, he is a regular at Metrogroove, Indulge, Ministry of Sound, Hard Times and the Southport Dance Weekenders & regular International spots including Japan & USA. His Dj career kicked off in 1984 with gigs at Dance Wicked at the Arches and throughout the 80's & 90's he guested at many infamous club nights such as Garage City & The Satellite Club whilst continuing with his day job as a computer engineer. In 1991 he gave up the 'day job' and co-founded Soho record store "Catch a Groove" which was fundamental in introducing the American house sound to the UK. Ricky's innovative DJ style playing style and music has gained him respect from American and Worldwide DJs alike playing alongside Masters At Work at Louie Vega's birthday party last year at The Camden Palace and at Liquid in Miami.

Ricky started M&S Productions with life-long friend Fran Sidoli in the early 1990s. Their production skills first came to light on labels such as Public Demand and Strictly Rhythm, and 'Special' by Robbie Craig. Over the last couple of years they have enjoyed further success with Michelle Week's 'Don't Give Up' and on their own project State of Mind on the Sound of Ministry label. They recently scored two massive top 20 hits with lifelong friend Brandon Block on the Blockster project with 'You Should Be Dancing' (No 3) and 'Grooveline' (No 18). Their re-mixing and production credits also include Juliet Roberts, M People and Barbara Tucker as well as mixing Ultra Nate's 'Free'.

Ricky and Fran produced one of the biggest dance tracks of 2001 'Salsoul Nugget (If You Wanna)', it reached #6 on the single charts, and have sold over 120,000 copies, 'Salsoul Nugget was hammered in the clubs and on radio, becoming one of the biggest airplay records this year, it was met with critical acclaim and received enthusiastic reviews and Ricky and Fran, deservedly won Best Newcomer for Songwriting, from the British Academy Of Songwriters And Composers

Since their success with Salsoul Nugget Ricky and his production partner Fran Sidoli have been working on various projects. Their latest remix is the greatly awaited "You me and the Music" by Milk and Honey released latter on this summer.
