Rhys has been DJing for around 7 years. He first discovered dance music when his older sister followed the old skool rave scene as a professional dancer. He listened to her cassette tapes of old rave music, and was inspired by people like Carl Cox, The Prodigy and Sasha and from there never looked back.

Rhys got his first set of decks at the age of 15yrs, and practiced in his bedroom initially, progressing on in time to play at house parties.

After gaining some experience and ability over a few years he then set up a hard dance night in Swansea called Lifestyle, where he played to crowds of around 50 people in a pub. Soon after Rhys was spotted by promoters for a night in Llanelli called Erased he then played to crowds of around 500 clubbers. It was at this time he entered the daily telegraphs DJ competition and won 1st place, an achievement in itself.

Things have gone well for Rhys and he has played at many different venues to date.His best experience was warming up for Lisa Pin-up in Harder@Escape in 2003.Rhys was a rotational resident there.

He has also had regular sets in and out of Swansea during 2004 and 2005 featuring on line ups with djs such as, Slipmatt, Billy Bunter, Jon Doe(CLSM), Dj Sy, Hixxy, Robbie Long, Brisk, Kevin Energy, Lisa Pin Up, John Whiteman, Paul Glazby, Chris Liborator, Stimulant djs, Johny Dangerous ,Charlotte Birch and Hinsley, Scott Brown, Breeze, kutski, Guyver and all the usual hard dance names on the cicuit.

Rhys also takes pride in playing for Maximise, an under 18s charity hard dance event funded by the Red Cafe, Swansea.

So far in 2005 Rhys continues with a residency for Nemesis at Crobar in Swansea. This event is at monthly pace in Crobar and will showcase some of the best acts seen in the hardcore and freeform style to date, he has played with most of the worlds best hardcore djs there like Dj Sy Hixxy etc. At 23 yrs old Rhys is a talented all round DJ making a name for himself and can also regularly be seen playing Back 2 Back with his partner in crime,teaming up as 'Last Of The Mohicans' by no means least a show in a league of its own!

His main style is hardcore techno and hard dance. Rhys’ record collection includes a bit of everything from hardcore, uplifting trance to banging hardstyle and is confident in selecting the genre depending on what’s needed. He is comfortable with different venues and crowds alike. He enjoys working the crowd and his energetic presence and mixing tricks and scratching never fail to get the clubbers in a frenzy no matter what size of venue. His main influences are Mark eg, Andy Whitby, Dj Sy, Brisk, Fergie, Mauro Picotto, Marco V and Big Al.
