Jason Rexrode aka DJ Rextc has always had a love for all things hard, heavy, and dark. From his early infatuation back as a teen listening to bands like Korn, Marilyn Manson, Deftones, and Orgy. Jason got his first taste of electronic music at Space night club in Philadelphia in '97, and was blown away by the way the music released people from all of their problems no matter what the week had dealt these people or what Monday held this music managed to give complete and total release. Jason's infatuation was not just directed to one specific genre he found good in all of them even the not so hard ones. Although good ol' American Hard House was his ultimate cup o'tea ala DJ Venom, Listening from everything from Funky House, Techno,Trance and hardcore he made a habit of attending parties and raves religiously over the course of the next five years. It was in December of 2002 when Jason finally got serious about djing because he wanted to be the one to supply the "release". Since his love of all electronic music was so great it was hard for him to decide on just one genre. Finally after much thought and experimentation he found UK Hard House to be his outlet because of the speeds it was capable of reaching, the many different sounds that Hard Dance music can have gave him the freedom to let loose on any style of Hard Dance that he deemed floor worthy. UK Hard House, Hard Trance, Hard NRG, Hardstyle, Hard Techno and all the little sub genres in between DJ Rextc's versatility and energy on the decks has proven to be infectious big room stompin good times for all those that witness it. His last promo cd "Public Display of Infection" has received acclaim from sympty's own DJ Taurus, and Subzero;s J-Sin. Rextc hopes to be releasing another disc very soon entitled "Bedpans and Boomsticks". Every Tuesday DJ Rextc runs a free weekly event in Dover, Delaware called the Oxygen Lounge that is free of charge and gives all local DJ's the chance to let loose. One goal that Jason has in the immediate future is to have a tag team with Dirty ol Frank. There is no telling how far Jason will go but the way things are looking, this could be a man that rides the wave of UK Hard House all over North America and beyond!!
