Ray Knox discovered quite early his preference for music. 10 years old he bought his first records and distributed later his self-mixed tapes among his friends. He started playing records at the end of the 80´s in various clubs, as for example "Nanu" in Mannheim and the "Hippodrome" (current club Castello) in Hennef / Germany. In the middle of 2000 Ray returned to his former starting place and is now responsible for all a resident DJs for house-, trance and techno parties.

He collected the first international experiences at the beginning of the 90´s in Italy where he gave his DJ's-set to the best in Rimini in the "Embassi". Since this moment he played numerous sets on the party islands of Ibiza and Majorca.

By his helping on a lot of big events in the course of the time, he could acquire such a massive knowledge in the whole range of the most different style directions which forms the basis of his activity as a producer. In the middle of the 90´s he began to build up his own recording studio and gained a lot of technical knowledge.

Beside that, he followed the directive "learning by doing" and spent innumerable hours in the much more largely growing studio. In the end of 2001 he got to work with one of his associates, the producer's team Cyrus and Tomahawk and created with them the project "Happy DJ's" which went in the beginning of 2002 with East-west Records.

His first remix "Calling Mars" boarded the dance charts in the storm and because of this he obtains other remix-orders, e.g., for Yanou feat. Do with the hit-single "On and On" (world-wide sales-charts).

Since 2003 there is a new Ray Knox Single with the title "Sign of Love", a track with packing vocals and straighten beats which cared to the beginning of the year for powerful whirl on the dance floors. The next single is already in production and will soon hunt you in the clubs.
