Huge hits, dance fads, gigging, and organizing the Happy Mondays. It's been a full-on couple of years for Prime Mover, and things ain't slowing down.

Prime Mover's distinctive production sound first captured the imaginations of the revelling masses in 2002. As instant classics 'Black Dogs' and 'Feel What I Feel' smashed into Discoland, the boys' deliciously addictive remix of Breather's 'Come On' initiated a dance-craze on a scale not seen since the heady days of Tiffany.

2003 saw the studio gurus flex their musical muscles in public with the Prime Mover live show, which galvanized group founder Dave Parkinson's position as simply one of the most gifted producers in dance music. Live instruments, live vocals and the odd guest Happy Monday have seen the act evolve into a spectacle that blows other 'live PAs' out of the water.

Involvement with the Mondays led to a dream project for Parkinson – remixing all the legendary Madchester band's big tracks for their relaunch. In addition to twisting melons in the studio, Dave has become a fixture as the group's new keyboard player, prompting Shaun Ryder to somewhat worryingly appoint him 'band leader'.

Summer 2004 saw the birth of the all new Prime Mover. Parkinson aims to take the live act to new heights, bringing in guests like Happy Monday Kav, and fresh talent in the form of new recruit Neil XXX. The procession of talent across the stage has continued into the studio, resulting in a bumper crop of new tracks, and a buzz that's generated bookings from Godskitchen, Extreme Euphoria, Tidy and Slinky.
