Precision Cuts are Joe Gray, Jem Haynes and Tam Cooper. Formed in 1999 they are currently one of the hottest acts in the Breakbeat scene. They have released many records to critical acclaim through various breaks labels which have all been played heavily by DJs including Adam Freeland, Tayo, Freq Nasty, Bushwacka!, Meat Katie, Groove Armada and the Plump DJs amongst others. Their DJ sets are unique in the respect that they play exclusively with CDs on a pair of pioneer CDJ1000s. This enables them to play a set that is on average 80 percent original material. They operate their own label "Smartbreaks" through which they release their own music. They perform live as a trio using electronic percussion and laptop FX to devastating effect. They have taken this live show all over the UK to venues like Fabric, The End and Concorde 2 in Brighton. They have also performed this show several times in Holland. PC have played as support act to Ken Ishii, The Bays and Ragga Twins. Precision Cuts try to raise the bar for breakbeat production and rhythmical feel. Precision Cuts is all about energy, spirit, rhythm and emotion.
