Dj Poposki, born Katlego Keolatotswe in Taung, a small town located in the North West Province of the Republic of South Africa. Although the town is not known for a music history, its people had passion for music. Among these people who danced to the music called house, there was young boy called Katlego also known as Poposki. Like many well-known djs, his love and passion for house music began on the dance floor. This love and passion for house grew greater when he saw one of South Africa's best and house djs legends, Dj Ganyane "spinning" records at a benefit concert organised to help people who were affected by the floods which affected many in Taung.

His love and passion grew even more he started collecting house music compilations, compiled and mixed by djs such as Vinny da vinci, Oskido, Big dawg, and many other. Collecting compilations introduced him to internationally known producers such as "little" Louie Vega, Julien Jabre, Frank Roger, Bob Sinclar and many others. One day a friend of his brother asked him if he wanted to be a dj, he asked him after seeing him trying to beat match using cd players which did not have a pitch adjust controllers, and pitch bends or jogs, his name is Dj Hemisphere. Dj Hemisphere after that day and onwards went to gigs with Poposki to introduce him to the djing world and what djing is all about.

After attending countless gigs with Dj Hemisphere who is a local dj based in Taung, Poposki felt that he has learned a lot to help him kick start a djing hobby by that time. He started playing in weddings, school concerts, battles and many parties. That is when Dj Hemisphere together with him re-united, but this time Dj Hemisphere and his friends--Dj Buzz and Dj Nandos. The four of them founded an entertainment company called Trekkie.com entertainment. Together they played locally and in other areas around their district, as a result, they became popular. This result made them to get an opportunity to be resident djs at a pub called Garden Sports pub in Vryburg. To them this was a achievement as they were now regionally known in the Bophirima region.

Now Dj Poposki including his friends, is one of best djs ever to come out of his province. Although his not famous like Dj

Nation, Zondi, Phat k and Beast who are also from North west province and are well-known nationally and internationally, his mixing techniques and his love and passion for house music are what made him the dj he is today. His mixing techniques made him play in well-known clubs and towns in the province such as the GARDEN SPORTS PUB in Vryburg, Oj's PUB in Schweizer Reneke, GRACELAND NIGHT CLUB in Mafikeng, LIBERTY TARVEN in Mmabatho, unit 7,

SHIMMY TAVERN and UNCLE JOE LOUNGE both in Pudumoe, CLUB LAPALAKA in Mafikeng, BASOTHO INN in Schweizer Reneke, SWAARTFONTEIN RESORT in Vryburg. He played with many provincially known djs such as PIX, NATION, BIG BOY and many others to mention only few.
