A Marketing graduate who is currently undertaking post-grad studies and is an IT Marketer by profession has lately been focusing his passionate efforts to improve his skills in the art of record mixing / DJ performances.

DJ Patrix has been mixing records and hosting events for over 12 years and has played along-side some of Sydney's best DJ's / artists such as John Ferris, Bexta, Micky D, DLX, Peewee Ferris, Ryzer, G-Banga, Chris Kross, HiJinx, Raziel, Tony Mann, NoizeGenerator, the Method, Mark N, Syndicate, Geoff da Chef a.k.a. the Hardcore Fiend, Luke Spellbound, Amber Savage, and Nik Fish to name a few.

This DJ has had numerous performances under his belt in Raves, Music Festivals by the Australians, Clubs nights like Ahead, Wanted by Josh and Friends Presents, Underworld, as well as Static Sundays held at different venues around Sydney since 1999. He also managed to play a fair few closed / private events such as 21st birthdays and school formal's / disco parties as he was also a mobile DJ.

DJ Patrix not only mixes records he also makes his own music trax under the name Deckvil, his releases will be available soon so stay tuned for more details.

He has been a guest on various FM radio stations in Sydney and NSW country like Radio Dex, 2SER, and 106.9FM to broaden his audience base as well as promote events that he is either performing in or hosting.

DJ Patrix plays various styles from Breaks, Funky Breaks, Electro, Floor Filler's, Funky House, Euro-House, Italian-House, various types of Trance such as Up-Lifting / Anthems / Melodic / Hard Trance and Electronica, Gabber, Hardcore, Speedcore, Terror, Dance, Euro-Dance, Hi-NRG, Hip-Hop, New Wave, Retro as well as Nu / Old Skool (Top of the Chart / Top 40 / Commercial) trax although his main focus currently is HardStyle Trance as it is the closest to his previous musical passion Gabber.

He is an avid vinyl collector and currently has around 4,500+ records in his collection and the collection is still growing, so he is sure to capture and satisfy the audience's musical taste and introduce them to other underground genre's.

DJ Patrix usually mixes with records and turntables but also perform using CD's, while playing he employs mixing, emcee'ing, tight beat-cutting / juggling, and scratching antics that gets crowd pumped and participating until the end of his set.
