Nate's gateway into electronic dance music was all because of one of his older brothers. He led him down the path to the sounds of the happy/uk hardcore, first showing Nate a couple compilation cds. United Dance vol. 5 and Vinylgroover Anthems 1, these were only the beginning.

At the age of 16 Nate got his first pair of turntables. A pair of run down and over used belt drive Numarks. He picked up on mixing very quick, he played out at his first show only one year after he started mixing music. Now at the age of 21, Nate has been tearing up the midwest with his unique style of mixing and insane track selections. Not only will he play happy/uk hardcore in his live sets but he has also been known to toss in some drum & bass, old skool, breakbeat hardcore, and of course classics.

Residing in Minnesota, Nate has been trying to build a hardcore scene there. He is part owner of a small production company called "Maximum Choonage" along side his brother. Their plan is to make the harder styles of EDM a bigger thing in the midwest, starting with Minnesota.

To say the least, there are no signs of NATO putting the headphones away anytime soon. Keep a look out for him as he will be one act you do not want to miss.
