Being the great-grandson of the first record store owners in San Francisco and the son of a founding member of War, Nate Metro's path is one that could easily be considered predetermined by fate.

A 16-year turntable veteran, Nate, a.k.a. Select-All, cut his teeth in the Seattle club/warehouse scene of the 1990s. He quickly moved on to hold multiple residencies not only in his hometown of Seattle, but also in Vancouver, BC, and in Salt Lake City, UT. After performing for thousands of people in almost every western state including Hawaii, Nate has learned to read crowds and respond musically with purely fun results. Consider it a form of performance art. Each night is different.

As a hungry student, Nate lugged his records all over Seattle via public transit. Thus his friends dubbed him Nate Metro after the name of the bus system. Eventually, in addition to being a DJ, Nate went into recording and production. But his roots are definitely in DJing. Nate knows there is nothing like connecting with a few thousand people at once. He moved to Sedona, AZ from Seattle in late 2003. Since that time he has started a family and become deeply involved in contributing to the scene in Northern Arizona and refining his art. Nate has been performing near and far with his visual partner Sss.

Drawing from his vast music collection, Nate Metro creates on the spot in direct reaction to the crowd. Each night is unique. He never plays a prepared set and acknowledges that the people determine the vibe.

Currently, Nate is a partner and resident of Dream Team Presents and has also begun the ambitious 'Juiced Project' with his visual partner Sss. He describes Juiced as beat-head friendly remixes of familiar songs that are coupled with Soss' visuals in order to create the ultimate dance floor experience.
