Dj MRTee aka Tommy Joe Hanssen, started DJ'ing at the age of 15. After a few years as a resident in his home town, playing mainstream, he found his path in HardHouse, Hardtrance and Techno.

After a few years he created he's own style, mixing dark and twisted Hardtrance with techno, giving the hardtrance a bit of a"hybrid techno" sound. These days he mostly play Funky Techno and UK Acid Techno, but a surprise-tune from the old days might suddenly appear. But you can still find MRTee playing HardHouse and other genres, at certain clubs. MRTee has played all over Norway, with DJs such as Ceejay (Hyperstate, SubCity, Futuredome), D.A.V.E The Drummer (Hydraulix, SUF), Tom Hades (MB Electroincs, I Love Techno), Rubec(Superfish, Escape from Samsara), NoModE (Hyperstate, Club-wonderland, SubCity), and many others.

MRTee has also started making his own music, which will be released sometime in 2006, under various UK, and Norwegian labels. So look out for DJ MRTee in the years to come.
