Biography Manfred Pachl (MP-Nuts)

Already as a 9 year old boy Manfred Pachl decided in 1976 to be a musician for the rest of his life. He realized fast his love to guitar-playing und founded 2 years later as he got an E-Guitar his first band. Thenceforward was all gone!

1983 he met the band with which he will spend the next eleven years (Dead Anyway). These band branded Rock n` Roll in his soul. After a style –and singer change and countless shows recorded this formation 1991 their first LP under the major label "Metronom" (Polygramm). The second long player was recorded in 1992 after several support-showas and tours (Girl shool, UK – Subs, Stone Temple Pilots etc). Unfortunately was these record never released because of massive conflicts with the label. 1993 left the second guitarist the band with heavy health-diseases, this had taken the band the togetherness and at last the energy.

NEVER CHANGE A WINNING TEAM.

1992 dicovered Manfred his love for electronic music. After countless sleepless nights in the techno scene of Mannheim and Frankfurt decided Manfred to act out his creativity on vinyl in the future. After an half year followed the first Showcases which introduced him into a couple of resident jobs in some famous locations and clubs (see discography). Already 1995 did he started to play on divers big events and played "warm up`s" for international acts. At the same time Manfred started producing and released together with divers production-partners his tracks on labels like Plastic City, Suburbia , Noom or Overdrive (just to count a few).

But for all that was the guitar-playing (which was very influenced from his electronic music experiences) always a part of him und gave his style of spinning records and producing a certain touch of Rock n` Roll. Along of the phase of electronic music he founded a couple of projects where he had the chance to mix electronic influences with hand-made music and immerged into music styles like Trip – Hop and NU Jazz.

After an health-collapse in the year 1997 decided Manfred to retire from the clublife and to put his main-target on the producing and remixing. Together with two friends founded Manfred the own imprint TV-Whatever to put his records under his own direction under the folks. However Manfred failed to do without the club life so he founded in the year 1999 the TV-Club (tv-whatever) in Mannheim which held up apart any commercial-thinking over 5 years. This club which worked only with local artists had gotten an absolute cult-status in the south-German area.

Since 2004 Manfred took over the steering of the popular, international orientated labels fine - audio recordings and tst recordings, furthermore he will manage from March 2005 on the label touch tone recordings.

In the future Manfred will put his main-focus on his job as A&R, the Dj-ing and his own productions.
