MASCOTA
Miroslav Petkov, a.k.a. Mascota, was born on the 5th of December 1980 in Bulgaria. Very enthusiastic about music, he played on flute for 7 years since his 10th year and won many competitions in his country. He began his career as a DJ in 1998 in his own town playing different styles - dance, pop & r?n?b. Became a pro DJ in 2001 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Then made his acquaintance with club music and went mad on tribal and tech house. His style may be defined as very impulsive, energetic and incisive. He skillfully mixes progressive and tech sounds with elements of minimal. That makes him very similar to names he likes - D-Formation, Chus, Saeed Younan, Tom Novy, David Penn, Wally Lopez, Dario Nunez, Juanra Martinez, Peter Gelderblom, etc. Mascota played in many Bulgarian clubs as Oscar, Planet, Tiffany, Babbles, Jim Beam, Masai, Siluett, etc.
