Trying to categorize Martin Lamelas within a specific genre is not an easy job. For the past ten years he has been working in the most important clubs of Buenos Aires: fusing different styles and rhythms.

Amongst his diverse residences he has worked with public and foreign crowds. And, at times, introduced them to the House and Electronic scene. Despite this, the crowd has always responded well to his work. This feedback comes from the entertaining climate he creates, whose groove is characterized by his outstanding Baselines. However above and beyond his varied style a classic house sound prevails.

His musical influences are varied: electro-pop, 80's Glam Rock, with a solid base in Afro-American music (soul, Motown, blues, r&b, etc). His sets are renowned for his free attitude - never being limited by the confines of musical genres or definitive sounds - but within the realm of pure funk there is always free space for creativity and experimentation in live mixing.

From the beginning he played in renowned clubs such as Caix & La Morocha and responded seriously to his job. So he could then appear in the most important clubs and festivals from the local scene such as Mint (Bs As / Punta del Este), K(BUE / URU), Big One, New York City, Museum, El Cielo, Space (URU), Scape, El Divino, Opera Bay Club, El Santo, BA Beer Fest, Lost / Club Araoz, Hi Fi & Pacha.

Martin has inserted himself into the local scene with a huge acknowledgment for taking part in innumerable occasions near remarkable Djs such as Diego Ro-K, Dr Trincado, German Rovira, Nestor Vidart, Aldo Haydar, Marcos Paz, Carlos Diaz, Gonzalo Solimano, Hugo Diaz, Fabian Dellamonica & La Portuaria.

He also shared the booth with well-known international djs such as, Richie Hawtin, Judge Jules, Anthony Pappa, Oliver Huntemann, Adam Beyer, Guy Gerber, Lucien Foort, Sandra Collins, Mistress Barbara, Austin Leeds, Paul Rogers, Rowan Blades, Greg Vickers, Nathan Coles, Joshua Collins, Rachael Starr, Ed Dimmock, Thomas Penton & Willy San Juan aka Tijuana (Bedrock).

Martin has took part in events held by several brands, such as South American Music Conference Pre and Opening parties, Personal Dance Connection, Marlboro (Red Racing Team), Heineken Music, Unifon MTV Dj Tour, Red Bull, Gancia, Rpm, Seat, Mini Cooper, Blue Polo, Puma, Samsung, , Hidden Affairs, etc.
