Markino ( Marco Bongiovanni) musical experience begins in 1980 when becoming part of the rock/pop group Gaznevada, he contributes to the whole Italian musical scene in the 80's giving birth to brilliant new ideas. The group was created in 1978 and was named after a story written by Raymond Chandler. In 1979 Markino begins his first recordings in studio presenting his music with the pseudonym Chainsaw Sally, resulting the beginning of a profitable career of musical compositions and which sees him reach the top of the charts in those years. Once ended the experience with the group Gaznevada (never officially split) in the following 1990's Marco's musical career finds its way into disco's where he becomes a world-wide phenomenon in dance music. In fact, thanks to his collaboration with DJ Herbie and Fabio Carniel of DMC he achieved a great number of world hits. Throughout those years Markino came in contact with the most famous DJ's and most known dance music gurus. Many world known DJ's have played his music and his songs have appeared at the top of charts in many countries. Important collaborations with producers and artists to mention are DJH featuring Stefy seen many times at the top of English, American and European charts. Others to mention during this amazing experience with this team are Paul Oakenfold, Lerry Levan, Jimmy Bo Horne, Sister Sledge etc. His name was on the most successful charts such as Billboard and Mix Mag and his videos were transmitted by BBC in England and at the Top of the Pops UK. The year 2000 brings two very interesting musical productions, the first to mention is "Kaliya" along with the song "Ritual Tibetan" taking Markino's music to the top of all charts all around Europe. This song was the most heard on radio and played in many clubs during the year 2000. The second is "King of Rock", a very famous song produced in collaboration with DJ Herbie, that once again became an international hit in 2002. What else to add to Markino's experience as a DJ? Furthermore to those years spent travelling around the world visiting famous clubs along with his team, we could also mention his experience in Sardegna where he played Lounge Music and Chillout at the Champagnerie Vanilla placed in the prestigious cornice of the Emerald Coast. In 2005 he was a resident DJ at the club "Moro" in Modena (Italy) along with the famous Buddha Bar DJ "Ravin". Today Markino live in China, he played 6 months as resident dj in Shenzhen at TRUE COLOR CLUB and LALUNO CLUB. From May, 2007 he's moving to Beijing and play as resident at SUZIE WONG CLUB. His musical program prefers to play House, Electro-House, Techno, Tech-House and Breaks.
