Muzik magazine called him the South American maestro ,when Sonar (Kismet Records) was out on april 2002, reaching number 13 on the main chart of one the best UK magazine Muzik Mag.

With more than 15 years as a dj and 8 as a producer Marcelo Castelli is now calling the attention of the best Djs around the world with his huge productions in two of the most respected labels in the UK Low Pressings and Kismet Records and remixing tracks for Hooj Choons ,Cream ,Illustrious, X Plosion and Vibra .

Recently he had signed two tracks to Stereo Productions ,and some of his tracks had been included in very good Cd´s compilations like ; Peace Division (Nite Life ),Saeed and Palash (Tide Edit 7),Further (Hooj),Band and Blanc (White Party).

His qualities tracks is a mixture of some of the best exotic Southamerican tribal rhythm including original Candombe sound from Uruguay and Tango music with the new tecnology, and Castelli´s Dj and producing experience.

The versality on his productions allow him to make tracks such as Caveman ,Sonar or Raices that makes you go mental without loosing the dancefloor feeling ,and tracks as Tribalismo, Jungleman or Tambores del Sur tribal house as it best that could rock any dancefloor around the world. This is one of the reasons why the best Progressive and Tribal House Dj´s had picked up his tracks.

The DJ´s list that plays Castelli´s tracks is amazing ,and includes premier league monsters as Sasha ,John Digweed Danny Tenaglia,PeteTong ,Dave Seaman,Seb Fontaine,Danny Howells ,Satoshi Tomiie,Steve Lawler ,Chris Fortier,Dj Nuken,Chab ,Dj Gogo,Sander Kleinenberg ,Peace Division ,Saeed and Palash Tom Stephan and the list goes on and on .

His Dj´s schedule is very busy at the moment playing all around South America and Europe.,Clubs like Elements (London),Privilege (Ibiza),Kadoc and Vaticano (Lisboa) and clubs in San Pablo, Rio ,Lima Bogota,Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires,are some the venues he is visiting with great success nowadays.
