Experienced and professional DJ/Producer from the sunny southwest corner of the UK. 11 years of mixing various styles to multitudes of people all over the UK and Europe. Specializing in bassline driven house and funky phat breakz, Major Lee Blunt has played with some of the top artists in these fields, including Krafty Kuts, Tom Neville and The Freestylers.

Currently available and looking for international gigs and bookings.

Major also runs commercial nights for nightclubs & bars in the Bristol area, using a broad knowledge of mainstream music and classic tunes, but not selling out to the annoying 'cheese' that seems to be swamping musical nightspots.

Long time resident of Ponana in Portsmouth and Mbargo, Bristol have shown that playing a diverse quality of music can pull in crowds much better and be more competitive than the mainstream bars and nightclubs.

Producing trax under the same name or Paul Ricard at present looking for signings and further prospects to push 'his' sound!

Currently Resident of the exquisite K2 on Whiteladies Rd, Bristol every other Saturday night where you can dance away till 4am with a funky and upbeat mix of current floorfillers and urban grooves.

Specialist in House (funky/soulful), Breakbeat, Breakstep and Electro. There are some very exciting artists especially groups from Sweden and Germany.

Commercially Skilled in all types of dance from 50's to Y2k and with a jolly attitude on the microphone if required :)

Starting back in the mid 90's with a passion for jungle,d'n'b and breakbeat Major started to play parties, underground events and raves to crowds of hundreds of blissed up nightbirds till dawn.

This journey lead to the discovery of house and the love affair will never end. Once resident of Ponana in Portsmouth opportunities arose with warming up for some of his favourite DJ's and Producers, the likes of Jon Carter (Monkey Mafia), Krafty Kuts & Norman Jay MBE to name a few. Other occasion's, Concentrate, Shining Light & FourPlay were home to some of the best nights on the south coast with major lee and friends always bringing down the house with quality vibes.

Gained more experience on Pirate Radio stations and internet radio station dyanmicbreaks.com to spread his sound.

A few years ago major found himself working ships to try to widen his experience and scope. The ships include the Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen Mary 2 and the Ocean Village.

With an ability to play nearly every style of music and when to play it has made Major very successful in local clubs and bars where the music is key to the nightlife.

Playing international gigs such as Meribel in France and The Party Crew Cafe in Amsterdam has also given experience in Europe. Major has played in so many varied places from a night on a disused military fort in the middle of the sea to the formal Christmas ball at Cardiff National Museum!! In the past few years, Major has been resident at the highly celebrated nightspots Mbargo in Bristol, Pam Pam's and Soda Bar also in Bristol.

Currently with Innercircledjs.com DJ Agency and bi-monthly Saturday night resident at the amazing K2 club, Clifton, Bristol.
