1994-1995
Inspired by the best known DJ's of the moment DJ Madwave had only one goal : To be able to put himself behind the wheels of steel to make his own cuts and make people move over his deadly rhythms.
Long before that, when he was still playing an electric piano, DJ Madwave was already fond of electronic music. Artists like Jean-Michel Jarre or Vangelis inspired him greatly and were the first part of his future musical collection.
Under these influences he became an early member of the trance movement which gave him all he needed to express himself freely and became quickly his best choice.
1996-1997
Aged only 17, DJ Madwave had the opportunity to take place in big prestigious clubs like The Mad (Lausanne, Ancien Palais (Geneva), The Love Zoo (Newcastle), The Sphinx (Martigny), etc.
These experiences gave him all the practice he needed to masteries his DJing.
His sets were also transmitted on the radio in shows like "Culture Dance" on Radio Framboise, N°1 private radio in the French speaking part of Switzerland.
With a good deal of success, DJ Madwave entered the Party News booking agency and was able to program a good deal of shows out of the country like at The Macumba (biggest club/leisure's center in Europe in St-Julien France).
Making the spirit grow and evolve with his talent was certainly one of the greatest gifts DJ Madwave could to do for his hometown public. Many shows were organised in Lausanne.
Often there at the "Electronic Nights" of The Mad, he entered then de United Management agency which counts famous artists within its members like Willow, Spoke, Vespa 63, etc...
2000-2001
Madwave being now well known by everyone, he had the opportunity to sign his first full-length compilation on CD called Magic Kingdom vol. 2 in association with Zurich's Dave 202.
The Year 2001 was certainly the crowning of Madwave since for starters he mixed the Trance.com compilation solo this time, but mostly he was chosen to mix the official live Street Parade CD. This compilation was sold over 14'000 times in Switzerland and abroad and thus became the best selling 'live' compilation since the first Street Parade.
He was active the hole weekend with live sets on the Street Parade Radio 88.8, but also at The Bürkli Place with a live set transmitted on TV by channel SF1 and, of course, was active on the TBA Records love mobile for the CD compilation.
On the production scene, he was called up with Patrice Collet for remixing the original song "I loose my mind" by Murphy Brown & Mike Nero for the German label MB Records.
He collaborated then with Zurich's Marco Guardia for the song "Pleasure" which was played on the live compilation of The Street Parade.
2002-2003
In July 2003, Madwave took part to the famous Love Parade in Berlin (Germany) before the release of his last CD Compilation "DJ @ Work" vol. 2, which came out in the beginning of August and had a lot of success in each part of Switzerland.
In 2003, two compilations were signed by DJ Madwave, and not least. At first, the official compilation of the Shiva Festival 2003 (Winterthur), like the second volume of the "DJ @ Work 2003" serie.
Young trance veteran, Madwave continues to make dance crowd each week-end by offering an evolved and original music.
In summer 2003, big European cites like Rimini and Frankfurt opened there doors to DJ Madwave where he was able to express himself in front of a large audience. After his European Tour, Madwave traveled on the other side of globe, in the Tahiti Island (Pacific Ocean) where he was asked to play at several parties.
Many production's projects are under development with David Nellen in their brandnew studio called "1036 Sound Studio".
