Lennie III has been a DJ since 1979. He started spinning during his freshman year of college while training for an ON AIR position at his college radio station. Originally a competitive couple's dancer, he was fascinated by the music and spent most of his time watching the DJ when he wasn't competing in a club's competition that night. With eight years of classical piano training, he said, "I can do that!" After two years of honing his skills and working mobile gigs, he landed his first club job at a small dance bar in Trenton, NJ. And so began his career as a club DJ.

Lennie III currently promotes the formats of Progressive House, Trance, Hard House, Tribal and Epic Trance. This blend of formats has brought him the most recognition of any other in his career. His music selections create a dark, sexy vibe infused with energy that his dance floor audiences find most addicting. Recently, he has brought a bit of a rock beat sound to his sets that has really helped to torque his dance floor. This choice of formats has labeled Lennie III primarily a "Black Party" style DJ. But due to his being asked to do an increasing number of high energy dance events, including T-Dances, he has proven that his talents are not limited to this one format or sound. Lennie III has played a long list of dance formats ranging from Club High Energy to Dance Oriented Rock (DOR) & Top 40 and House Music to Techno. And with each format he has found a way to make it his own with his smooth, nearly surgically precise style of mixing.

Lennie III returned for his eighth Summer season as resident DJ at THE CLUB Purgatory in Provincetown, MA in May 2006. While in Provincetown, MA he was the resident DJ for "JoeyDes Productions presents BOUND: Sundays" from 2000 through 2003 and found a loyal following. He remained the resident DJ at THE CLUB Purgatory through the end of 2006. There he continued to increase his following with the weekly summer event, Leather Sundays. He also found success with the weekly 70's and 80's retro parties he played throughout his entire residency at THE CLUB Purgatory.

Over the years, Lennie III has had the opportunity to play a number of events nationally, numerous clubs and private dance parties. Though he prefers club venues, he has worked outdoor venues, house parties and cruises with equal success. A list of events he has performed at in recent years include Benefit Bound '99-'03; The Carnival Pier Dance '04 &'05; Caravan of Dreams: A New Year's Celebration 2006; Boot Camp: Northampton Pride 2007 Men's Dance Event; Woof on the Wharf: Opening party for Provincetown Bear Week '06-'08 and his most recent event, Recon's Full Fetish Dance Party 2009 in Washington, D.C. This is the second year he will be invited to spin for Recon's event.

Since leaving Provincetown at the end of the 2006 Summer season, Lennie III has moved back to Hamilton, NJ. The new year finds him now focusing on expanding his bookings and landing a new DJ residency in the Tri-State area.
