Kurtis' passion for house music began in the early 90's in San Francisco and is deep rooted in all things tribal and spiritual. He was at the helm as one of the founders and resident DJ of the now legendary A-frame parties thrown throughout Northern California's Bay Area. He has played hundreds of sets and is regarded by all in the Sacramento/ Bay Area underground dance culture as the foremost DJ of deep, tribal, progressive tech-house!

Transcending the level of mere DJ to achieve the status of turntablist, Kurtis' sets can only be described as magic… Music with integrity. His unique blend of deep, dark, tribal tech-house has on countless occasions transported listeners to new dimensions.

Continuously searching for new ways to take it to the next level, Kurtis recently began utilizing his own skills as a production artist by mixing his own tracks into his sets… One only has to give Kurtis' own tracks a listen on his website www.dopefinger.com to see that his music is coming from the heart.
