Kristina Sky discovered Electronic Dance Music at the age of 16 when she began attending underground parties in Los Angeles. It wasn't long before she went from attending these events, to organizing and producing them. Sky threw commercial and underground events from the ages of 17-22. Her events took her following all over Southern California from Santa Barbara to L.A. to San Bernardino to the Mojave Desert.

After years of throwing parties, managing local DJs and being a dance music fanatic, Kristina realized that she was starting to crave becoming a DJ instead of just booking and managing them. She was given a pair of old turntables by a boyfriend and began obsessively collecting vinyl- the rest is "history".

In early 2002, Kristina Sky was booked to play her first event and the response was overwhelming. More bookings followed as a result and her small, dedicated following began to grow and take shape. Since then, Kristina's been pounding her unique style of high energy, melodic trance and chugging signature blend of progressive, house and electro, into the heads of dance music lovers all around the world.

She held her residency at Club Heaven (Hollywood, Ca USA) since a month after it opened in early 2004 and early-on in her career had the opportunity to play alongside some of the greatest and biggest names in Trance such as Blank & Jones, Solarstone, Johan Gielen, Jan Johnston, Nu-Nrg, Kyau & Albert, 4 Strings, Ronski Speed, Mark Norman, Motorcycle, Rank-1, Dave Dresden, Second Sun, Ian Van Dahl, Cosmic Gate, Filo & Peri, Menno de Jong and the list goes on, while also playing a huge hand in bringing many of these artists over to L.A./U.S. for their 1st times.

In Summer 2005, Kristina picked up a new residency with XM Satellite Radio's 'Lost Episode' club-nights, alongside talented DJ and Lost Episode Host, Victor Dinaire. Lost Episode put on a handful of quality club nights in Los Angeles and San Diego, at various world-class venues such as Avalon (Hollywood), 4th and B (San Diego) etc... where Kristina played alongside Top 100 DJs like Ferry Corsten (5), Paul Oakenfold (11) and Andy Moor (46) to name a few.

Radio has been a key vehicle in sharing Kristina's DJ sets with people from all corners of the earth. From satellite to internet to FM radio, her live recordings and guest mixes are streamed and heard by millions. Kristina continues to maintain a 5+ year-running residency on etn.fm, one of the largest and most respected Trance and Progressive online radio stations in the world, where regulars from all over the globe, tune in to hear the latest and greatest in trance and progressive, interpreted by Kristina during her current mix show series - ?Kristina Sky Presents... Trancelate?. She is also rotating resident on Victor Dinaire's Lost Episode Radio show on XM Satellite (over 12 million subscribers) and is a regular featured artist on Dinaire's Resident Nation on Music Choice/DirecTV (broadcast to over 80 million homes & cars in America).

2006 was a very productive and positive year for Kristina Sky. She was named Official Resident DJ for Spundae (Voted #1 Promoter @ 2006 IDMA and #37 Club in the World by Mixmag), after playing countless shows and cultivating a massive SoCal following (43 shows in 2005 alone!). 2006 also saw Kristina's huge debut performance at Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in North America, where she played to thousands of eager festival go-ers alongside legends and top acts like Madonna, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Daft Punk and more. This was a great compliment that Kristina did not take lightly, being that she herself was a Coachella fan and attendee since their first year running. The response to her performance was massive and she was even asked to play a 2nd set later that night, a very rare, if ever, Coachella occurrence.

Kristina tied up 2006 with an astounding total of 55 shows that took her to places like China, Ecuador, Canada, Texas, Oregon, Florida and more where she played for thousands of amazing fans and music lovers, also culminated 2006 by playing at Giant Maximus, one of the biggest NYE events on the planet, playing alongside an all-star line-up including Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten Sasha & Digweed and more.

After week-in and week-out of playing quality shows alongside the best DJs in the world and having a steady radio presence, it?s no wonder that she accumulated enough fan support to get her voted into the Tranceaddict.com Top 250 DJ Poll of 2006 as a New Entry and to land her at #75 in the United States, 102 in the World for Trance, on the highly regarded, DJ List. (out of 99,000+ Registered DJs)

Kristina also finally made her way into the studio in 2006 and finished off her first monster of a remix with Randy Boyer of EnMass [EnMass- CQ (Seek You) (Randy Boyer & Kristina Sky 2007 Remix)], which was signed to Armin Van Buuren?s own "A State of Trance" record label and released in Jan ?07. This first remix gained support by top talents like Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Solarstone, Agnelli & Nelson, John O'Callaghan, Darude, Sander Van Doorn, and many more and is still rocking dancefloors all over the world. Before the New Year hit, Kristina got back in the studio with Randy Boyer to work on their follow up to CQ. This time around they were put on serious remix duty for trance legend, Pulser's, hot new single, "Things You Say". This mix is Kristina?s first vocal production work and she is really excited about the project (due to be finished by Feb 2007). Already with other collaborations in the works, you can expect Kristina's "CQ" & "Things You Say" remixes to be only a taste of what's to come.

Recently being taken on by Beatkraft DJ Agency, 2007 is sure to see Kristina travel to many more cities to continue sharing her unique and feel-good sound. Already booked to play shows with ATB, Peter Hook of New Order and Above & Beyond, along with other international offers to play in Mexico, Germany, Holland and the UK to name a few, 2007 is off to a promising start.

Kristina Sky has undoubtedly developed a very loyal following that appreciates her passion and energetic performances. This following is what fuels her to keep playing. Bottom line, whether it's a warm-up set for a Top 100 DJ or playing a headlining slot, Kristina Sky is ready to rock the dancefloor and get the crowd moving.
