KREAMDIP
Omar Karim and Steve DiPietro merged to form the electronic production/dj duo Kreamdip during the summer of 2003. Since their alliance, they've performed at some of the most prestigious clubs in the U.S. and abroad. Calling Washington D.C. 'home', they hold a Friday residency at the intimate club LIMA, where they've performed alongside such talent as Dubfire of Deep Dish and Paolo Mojo. In March, at the Miami Winter Music Conference, they played at the massive MYNT Closing Party with Cedric Gervais, Second Sun, Granite and Phunk and Seamus Haji. Several new productions and remixes are set to be released during the summer of '07, with a few on their DC based label Level 2. Their discography already includes the deep house groove 'Jumpy' that drew praise from numerous industry artists, including Bart Cruz of Feed Me Records/Portugal who played it on M.A.N.D.Y.'s radio show in Germany. A recent collaboration with progressive king Jav-D titled 'Red Diner' is scheduled to come out soon on Neuroscience Recordings UK. "Electro Magic' is the newest gem from the studio, already causing a buzz with a release date imminent. Among their remixed choons, a white label funky version of Rachel Panay's 'I Still Believe' was a smashing hit. Despite their active schedule in the studio, they look to maintain their rigorous gigging itinerary, with upcoming performances in New York, Las Vegas, Miami, and Europe.
