It all began in 2001 in Lviv, Ukraine; a young DJ Klonez or Dmitriy Belichenko was playing on the computer at his friend’s house, as most 15 year olds would do then. KloneZ’s friend introduced him to a computer program for making music and he immediately became addicted. Right after leaving his friend’s house he went out and bought the same program, using his father’s computer when he was at work or asleep. "Making your own music.....wow......that’s amazing......now I can do it my way", he thought as he spent hours in front of the computer, attempting to create his own tunes.

As Klonez grew older, his love for music became stronger. After moving to Canada at the age of 16 he bought his own computer, microphone, and programs. The producing was not just a hobby anymore, it was more serious, something that drove him. But Klonez wanted something more than just staying behind a computer, he wanted to share the music he loved so much with everyone around him so he saved up for DJ equipment and began to practice, and practice, and practice. When he attended his first rave in Canada he had the chance to meet DJs HardFlow and Lady Bass, whom he was big fans of. Thanks to email, HardFlow got the opportunity of listening to Klonez songs and loved them. Klonez got his first gig at RevThursday when he was only 17, even though only 200 people showed up it was one of the happiest moments of his life.

Klonez continues to produce music and has played at many events in Canada. He frequently appears on thebasslinecartel’s radio station to spin live sets and will appear on thedjsourceradio.com as well. He also got invited to spin at the local radio One 94.6 FM radio station. Klonez has even gotten to be heard internationally, Nick Energy and DJ Racy from Taiwan played an intro he made especially for them at Trance Forever, a series of Trance parties in Taiwan.

There are very few people today who have such a strong love for music like Klonez does. He manages to create such wonderful music and have so much energy and enthusiasm when he spins, making him a truly passionate DJ and producer.
