KIO has been involved in the music industry in one way or another for well over a decade now. Briefly starting out on the guitar he then quickly moved on to the drums where he played toured & recorded with many rock bands including Sydney's NAIAD. Being a drummer meant that Beats were KIO's passion, & with an extensive recording & producing background, it was only a natural progression to move into the whole world of electronica.

KIO then spent time writing, producing & playing Keyboards in numerous electronic outfits, it was here where he started experimenting with mixing and developing what is now he's un-denying passion for dance music.

Having made that transition, KIO is fast becoming one of Sydney's finest & most creative Dj/Producers. Playing along side many local, national and international household names.

KIO is also the founding member of Sydney house night Seamless. On top of organising and promoting the event, he also plays regular sets, showcasing his unique style of techy chunky driving electro.
