JOHNSON AND CORBETT
Ever since Wes Johnson and Greg Corbett met in 2002, their chemistry has sky rocketed thru the roof. The two met while Djing for a international internet radio station “Radio Freedom”. The duo started producing together in late 2002 and have not stopped since. Wes and Greg found themselves with many questions that needed to be answered, how could they bring a new sound to the world of trance. The questions were answered in mid 2004 when Phill Joyce released his track Chiba. The duo eagerly jumped on the idea of a remix of this track. In a few weeks the duo released their remix of the track which became a well favored track among small time internet radio DJs. The owner of Trance Tribe Recordings, Scott Richardson, who originally signed Phill Joyce’s track heard the duos remix of Chiba and was awestruck at the sound they produced . They entered into talks and signed contracts in august of 2004. Wes and Greg Followed up their Chiba remix with their first solo release The Way. The Track have an overwhelming response from the public. The Way soared to the number one track on the Audiojelly.com digital download charts. This was a great success for the duo. The later part of 2004 saw the release of Exalavator, Ibiza Sun, and Simple Pleasures. Entering into 2005 the duo now found them selves as rising trance stars. They were getting plays from artist such as Passiva, Nick Thompson, John Askew, and many more. Today Greg and Wes are working with many renowned artists and labels. The duo have recently announced doing work for Connected Music, Trance Tribe Recordings, Real Music Recordings, and Armada. The year 2005 looks to bring many new things for the duo, keep your dance floor rocking with the sounds of Johnson and Corbett.
