From the moment Joe first entered "the scene" he knew what he was sent here to do. 1 year later DJ Joe Rowe first energed by winning 1st prize in the 2004 Liquid Ice DJ Competition. Joe's passion for the darker side of dance offered some different to Canada's east coast and he quickly established himself as one of Newfoundland's most reputable DJs.

Much has changed since Joe's early days on the east coast. In 2005, Joe moved to the capital of Canada and introduced the residents of Ottawa to his concept of sound. Quickly becoming a local favorite once again, Joe is regularily seen with top billings at many of the region's rave and club events.

Once establishing himself in Ottawa joe branched out with a number of headlining/sub-headlining appearances in some of Canada's largest cities including a Nocturnal Commissions event at BLAK Afterhours in Toronto, regular headlining appearances at Liquid Ice in St. John's NL, and an upcoming appearance at Taste the Rainbow in Montreal where Joe will be headlining one of three rooms. He also has an upcoming appearance in Toronto playing alongside Tracid Traxx legend A*S*Y*S, and has several other shows in the works for Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

DJ Joe Rowe also runs Deep Frequency Fridays with DJ Supaman, Ottawa's most successful hard dance club night. DFF brings in some of Canada's top hard dance DJs, which is complemented by a great lineup of local talent.

Along the road Joe has had the opportunity to play alongside many dance heavyweights such as Global DeeJays, Luna-C, Delta-9, Rob Gee, Manu Le Malin, Martin Villeneuve, Stephan Grondin, and Matt the Alien to name a few.

After winning over crowds throughout eastern Canada, Joe has now set his sights on the west coast and the US. Joe hopes that his passion for music and energy coupled with his recent production efforts will help propel him to the next level.
