The Beginning

DJ Jazper otherwise known as Jasper van den Ende was born and raised in the Netherlands in a small town near Rotterdam named Schipluiden. His musical interest started at a young age thanks to the influence of his parents - they both played in a classical orchestra, and at the age of 6 Jasper began to play the drums and other percussion. Having been to a lot of parties Jasper discovered House music at the age of 16, and many times before he and his friends went to a party they met at the home of one of his friends where they had a DJ set in his bedroom! This was the place where Jasper made the first moves towards a career in DJing, and shortly after he began to buy his own equipment and records.

As A DJ

Eventually, following lots of practicing in his room his first small gigs came about. Later things really changed following a vacation in Lloret de Mar (Spain) during 1999. Initially it was a planned holiday but it ended with him working the whole summer for a small club named Hot Spot! The crowd and promoters really loved DJ Jazper which resulted in him returning during the summers of 2000, 2001 and 2002! In this period he learned a lot because he was DJing 7 days a week for 2 months, he also worked along side people like Erick E, Johan Gielen and DJ Tiesto!

After the summer of 2002 Jasper stopped playing in Spain as he wanted to concentrate on his DJ career back home in Holland and he also wanted to start producing! After the first summer in Spain he came back to Holland and started working for a club called Alcazar (Puttershoek). In 2002 Jasper organized his first Trance/Techno party at the club, the night was called Beats&Melody! And at this moment he is talking with this club about a own trance night. This will be every the first Saturday of the month and he will be the resident DJ and Organizer of this evening. More info about this night will be confirmed later!

In 2003 came the highlight of Jaspers career when he DJd on the Terrace of Prachtig during the Fast Forward Dance Parade! Jasper managed to fill the terrace throughout the entire evening and the people of Prachtig really loved his performance. He has now been asked to return following year! Jasper has also pioneered his own concept for Prachtig - playing the terrace every Thursday of the summer with special guests! Guests so far have included close friend Leon D and none other than Misja `Back From Your Past´ Helsloot. The dates for this event will be 8, 15, 22 & 29 of July as well as 5 & 12 of August! The concept will finish in style on the 14th of August during Fast Forward Dance Parade when Jasper will DJ on the main stage of the ' Dance4Free' event at Prachtig.

Soon DJ Jazper will be presenting his own show on BasicBeats Radio and he will also be a new member of the Dutch DJ agency Equipe Hollande.

As A Producer

In 2002 Jasper bought the equipment he needed to start producing! After some time learning he started to get the hang of it, and right now he is now talking with a label (Basic Beat) about his first release. The release will be either his techno track titled `Stab It´ or his trance track 'Lotus' which is currently in production. There is a lot of enthusiasm from people ho have heard samples of the track, so watch out for this one! Following the summer Jasper is going to do a project with an unknown established producer (more info coming soon). Look out for future projects, remixes and collaborations.
