Born on March 27, 1973 in France, Jay discovered his passion for the music in the age of 16 years, influenced by artists like "Kraftwerk". Thus he started to take lessons of music which reflect in obviousness his talent to play of synth.

Jay Olsen musical passion started when he was 18 years old. Indeed, after leaving school, he bought a transit van and set up his own group after getting his first synthesizers in the early 90s.

During the 3 following years, he hold differents jobs around the music while being "Technics" demonstrator at the national level for synths and also in a music store for brands like Roland, Korg, Access, Waldorf...

In 1994, he listen by chance the "Bonzai Records Music" compils containing many trance tunes (whereas until there its influences were rather Techno music) and it was the revelation ! He bought his first mixer and turntables and started djing. After a while, he found his first job as a Dj in nightclub.

In 1996, he begins a new musical activity. All his spare time was spent in his home studio in order to create its dance music bands with which he won several competitions supported by the national radio " Fun" and tv " MCM". Following that, others bands called on him to compose musics.

During the summer 1998, he goes to the United States, in Los Angeles, where he meets renowned international Deejays at the time of parties organized by the most famous clubs. On the way back in France, he stops everything to devote itself to the Deejing. His sets are always happy and full of energy !

To date, he tries to impose progressive and trance music through his sets but it's still difficult because the house scene takes up an important place in France even if that moves. Indeed, more and more French listen trance music thanks to internet and by word of mouth.

However, they are presents on the occasion of big european trance parties.
