JASON PHILIPS
This is the way Jason Philips describes himself. Jason Philips is a dj of 10 years based out of Portland OR. His sound skips lightly through many styles of house never really rooting itself in one spot. Jason began his dj lifestyle in Tucson AZ in 1995. He first became a dj after promoting for the famous Indonesia shows in SF and then returning to AZ and wanting to hear the music he heard there. 2 years later Jason left to return to the SF bay area and began playing small events and house parties in the area. With a major climate shift on the way in the dance music scene Jason sought refuge in rural Washington. It was here he met his wife and one of his ultimate inspirations. Along the way Jason played shows in Idaho and Washington for various sized crowds. In the year 2000 Jason and wife moved to Portland OR where Jason's first child was born. It was at this time that Jason changed his dj name from Dj Underdog to Jason Philips. Jason began building his career and has managed to play almost every major city in the western United States. He has played alongside some of the worlds most sought after talent. In 2002 Jason began building his studio and now actively is working on tracks with a new full length release slated for release in the fall.
