Emanuele Marzolini aka Italian Mafia Dj, is an Italian DJ and producer, born in central Italy, in the magic city of Rome. His career starts at a very early age. Growing up in Roma's sunshine, when he was a 16 year old boy, he becomes the most young DJ of Radio Community and EF, two important Italian's dance radio. He also played electronic sounds on his guitar in a electronic rock band. In this period starts his career as a DJ, influenced a lot by the great Mauro Picotto and Tiesto. He practiced the art of mixing and learned how to dj House and Trance music's new dancefloor rhythm. In 2004 his consecration as one of the most important Italian Dj of Trance Music. He played music with important exponents of World Trance Music like: Prodigy ,CashMoney, ATB, Mauro Picotto, NU NRG, James Holden, Sandra Collins. He also started to create a private studio in order to express his personal vision of Dance-Trance Music. His ability to mix and his emerging studio talent encouraged many artists to record at his own studio. Now, Italian Mafia Dj has emerged as one of the Italians most influential exponents of Trance and Progressive music. Since 2004 he is a resident DJ, and during the year he organizes promotional tours around the world. Since 2005 he is a one of the guests in MTV Day After Party celebration. In 2005 he produced his third CD, "Just a dream. In August 2005 he has been nominated "Best Italian Dj of the Month" by Trance Italia Magazine. His last CD "Essence of Life" is also the name of his World Tour 2006.In December 2006 will be released his new album, with 8 unpublished tracks. For the last years Emanuele Marzolini has helped develop the Italian underground dance music scene. From touring full time as a Dj (an average of 100 shows per year), to his production & remixing he has amassed a dedicated fan base, crossing over the progressive house to trance to techno. I think trance is becoming a broader term for a lot of different genres; it's no longer a specific kind of music within the dance scene", says Emanuele. "Trance has elements of all different types of music. I play a lot of tracks that are labeled as progressive, tribal progressive, techno, trance, euphoric trance, vocal trance, melodic progressive. These days it's really hard to label a specific sound. Styles are mutating and evolving into this all-over new sound, which is basically dance music going back to its roots.
