ILLUX (EC Army, Vinyl Technicians Boston/LA/NYC)

Illux came out in the New England drum & bass scene 7 years ago by joining forces with fellow dj Mathias to form Headfirst Productions. Together they created the first PRESSURE SESSIONS dnb weekly in Boston, soon to be joined by Elemental Compounds founder Miztah Lex. Since then she has gone on to run and perform at nights in dnb and other genres including downtempo/triphop, soul and breaks across the states as well as internationally. Her collection spans everything from classic soul to old school hiphop to instrumental movie scores.

Currently residing in NYC, Illux is a member of the EC Army and Vinyl Technicians DJ collectives and resident at LA dnb weekly PRESSURE SESSIONS. Representing junglists, record geeks and computer nerds worldwide, she continues to bring ill skills and the best in electronic music coast-to-coast in the U.S. and beyond.
