Emir Ferusic aka Higher Representative was born in Travnik, Bosnia & Herzegowina, on sunny August 1979. He started dealing with music in 1987 when he enrolled in Primary Music School in Travnik to play violin. On the first days of war in 1992, he gave up music school with one grade left unfinished. In the first year of High School (1994) he founded with his childhood's friends a band "Alternativa Nova". The war was raging all over B&H and the band was only way to prevent a mind of going insane, and to stay in one part by going really underground in shelter to play music.

For almost ten years playing bass guitar in Alternativa Nova, with whom he played all over B&H and frequently in Europe (Italy, Germany, Austria and Holland) and won three prices on a first Bosnian music awards (2nd best artists, 2nd audience choice and 1st best new expression), he played with other musicians as well. On 1999 he joined music theater project "Singers institute: Nonchalant Rupert" and played on their never realized album "The baggers days" and two mini tours in Austria and Germany. Also he was a part of "Ultra Red Orchestra" a resident band of Gallery of Contemporary Art "Kaleidoscope".

During that period he was working on two fields: On one, with Alternativa Nova, he started to experiment with electronic music trying to combine different styles; on other he was studying the economics which he graduate in field of cultural marketing and management.

On 2002, when Alternativa Nova stopped their active working, he and the Alternativa's singer (Emir Fetahovic aka DJ Nazzif) started the project "InConnection DJs" along with their friend Dalio Sijah (Monsieur Jacques). First they started to produce music and later they included the djing. All knowledge collected from 1993 to 2005 they gathered together in "InConnection" organization for promotion and producing electronic music and freedom in which he works as DJ-producer and booking manager. Also, HR is account manager in Saatchi&Saatchi Ideas Company, Sarajevo.

In his sets he prefers progressive and electro sounds combining different music styles. All in all, InConnection DJs are known by long sets and by keeping audience dancing till morning hours.
